The CRFG provides the infrastructure, physical space, facilities, expertise and culture needed to optimally support patient-focused research studies and clinical studies aimed at understanding a range of diseases and translating the knowledge obtained through this research work into reimbursed, regulatory approved advances in patient care as speedily as possible.
Introductory Course in Biostatistics
The workshop provides participants with an overview of fundamental biostatistical methods, an understanding of the key concept of variability and a practical working knowledge of the statistical techniques they are likely to encounter in applied medical research.
Advanced Course in Biostatistics
- *New this year*
The success of the Introductory Course has led to a demand for an advanced course in Biostatistics.
This course is intended for those with a basic understanding of Statistical Ideas. The Introductory Course in Biostatistics (see above) would provide this, but a reasonable applied knowledge of designing and analysing simple studies would suffice.
